I saw a recent article on DallasCowboys.com about the NFL sending rookies to the Hall of Fame. This is idea in which each team in the league will bring its rookies and first-year players to visit the Hall of Fame before they ever step foot on an NFL field.
Apparently, this was Michael Irvin’s idea. I believe it is a great idea. It gives those rookies a humbling experience and a lesson on the NFL. The NFL is not about the rookies, it is historic. This should be a reminder to those rookies of what their goals should be.
During the visit, Irvin reminded those guys that “It’s a privilege to be a part of this league.”
Great job Playmaker.
