This one wasn’t as close as the box score.  If you didn’t watch the game and just pick up the paper, you would think this game was closer than it was.  The Cowboys didn’t play that great. They should have scored 40+ points on this weak packers defense. 

The Packers offense picked up most of their yards and their only TD in garbage time after the game was decided.  The packers were 2-0 with a big offense coming into this game, but you have to realize the combined record of their first two weeks opponents are 1-5.  Detroit and Minnesota aren’t exactly playoff teams.   Their numbers against the lions were skewed because Kitna scored 3 TDs for the packers.

The truth is that the packers are probably an 8-8 team because their division is so weak.  The truth is that Brett Favre made a living in this week division.
