Isaiah Stanback
Cowboys draft pick Isaiah Stanback is sure getting some fans and at least one broadcaster (spags) very excited.  Stanback obviously needs a haircut, but after that he just seems to need some playing time.Â
He finally got on the field against the Broncos and made the most of his time by making a great TD catch just outside of some traffic. While, we didn’t get to see his speed, the catch proved to me that he is talented. Â
I would love to have someone like this on the roster for two reasons. First, I think we have two very good, but older starting recievers. We might be able to use some young talent as the season goes on. Â
Secondly, If he can get in and contribute, he will give defensive coordinators a headache in the preparation meetings. Â
 I still have mixed feelings, but I’m starting to get excited about him.Â

I voted Real Deal, but I do think he was overhyped for his performance in the game. That was a nice end zone catch, but two catches shouldn’t equate to some of the media saying that he had a great game.
The first catch was a route that had been open all day, so it was almost a gimme. Now, the second catch was very nice, but let’s see a little more from him before we go nuts.
Again, I do think he has a lot of promise and I’d side with real deal until I see otherwise.

The first catch wasn’t anything remarkable. Even his moves after the catch were fairly average.
The second catch was really nice. In my opinion it was a catch that NFL recievers should make. Having said that, if a guy we drafted as just a reciever made that catch, I wouldn’t be excited.
However, if we have a guy that can contribute much more than just being a normal reciever makes that catch, it is worth a mention. He may have a tremendous upside.
Or, he may be an overhyped rookie that is an average NFL reciever.
I need to see more!

As natural Cowboy fans of course we would say he is the real deal thats what we hope anyway maybe hes the next Owens (without the publicity) or maybe he just had a good day.
Spagnola needs to be really excited. I hadn’t given it much thought until I watched the pre-season game the other night.
